Taxes: no white year for nearly three million taxpayers

Nearly three million taxpayers will have to pay tax on their exceptional income received in 2018. The State will rake 5.4 million euros in its coffers.

5.4 billion euros in revenue for the State

Global revenues estimated at 5.4 billion euros for the State. This announcement was made by the Minister of Action and Public Accounts Gérald Darmanin. According to him, nearly 18 million taxpayers will pay no taxes at all in 2018, as part of the white year. The recovery rate has already reached 98.5%. As for the drop of 5 billion euros announced in the spring, the Minister recalled that it would be applied from January 2020, without any particular approach for taxpayers.
