For the first time this year, the income statement is done on the internet for everyone. In the event of a problem, however, it is still possible to go to your tax office for help.
No more paper, now the tax return is done online for everyone. At the Amiens tax center, in the Somme, workstations with internet-equipped computers have been made available to taxpayers so that they can make their declaration. And for those who are not comfortable with the web, agents and students have been provided to help them.
A still flexible system
The online declaration service has been open since mid-April, and tax office agents are receiving more visits from taxpayers this year. “There are more people asking for our help, explains Delphine Poiret, auditor of public finances. What blocks a lot is mastery of the internet. ” In fact, despite the law that requires online reporting, exceptions are granted. The paper declaration, still possible in certain cases, must however be filed before May 16.
