Bercy revealed to have recovered nearly 9.4 billion euros thanks to its regularization unit created in 2013 after the Cahuzac affair. It had closed on December 31, 2017, but the service still had 11,000 cases to process, which allowed it to recover 1 billion more.

Bercy in search of hidden money. In five years, the tax authorities have collected 9.4 million euros in fines and taxes. In total, 47,000 taxpayer files were processed.“They had money in Switzerland. A capital regulation unit

An action made possible thanks to the Bercy regularization unit, set up in 2013 after the Cahuzac affair. The objective at the time was to invite taxpayers who hide money outside the borders to declare it to the tax authorities without the risk of criminal prosecution. After tax exile, Bercy is preparing to track down another fraud: that of VAT, within the framework of the future finance law.
