Pension reform: new day of national mobilization

Thursday January 16 marks a new day of national mobilization against the pension reform. Unions are finding it increasingly difficult to assemble en masse.

Pension reform: new day of national mobilization

It is a new day of national mobilization. Thursday January 16, several events are organized throughout France, as in Saint-Étienne (Loire). In the procession, the strikers are always very determined. In Lille (North), railway workers, teachers and even hospital staff are in the street with the same objective: the total withdrawal of the reform. For the CGT, no question of releasing ballast.

Teachers mobilized in Grenoble

In Périgueux, in the Dordogne, the parades are played out to music, just like in Grenoble. In the city of Isère, teachers are particularly mobilized. But for some, the six weeks of conflict are beginning to make themselves felt. “We will feel it soon at the portfolio level”, says a protester in Montpellier (Hérault). The Parisian procession will leave at the beginning of the afternoon.
