Let’s get the first impressions from the MacBook Air, which, thanks to its unusual concept, will receive a lot of attention for a few weeks. Do they send it, or do you talk about nm in superlatives first?
As always, Apple left all the patina tense, so no matter how much information about the new laptop in the MacBook stood. This was true not only for foreign servers, but also for those on a modest Czech dog. Even more fans will be disappointed and potential buyers will be disappointed with the following information.
Given that the MacBook Air is very little equipped with a laptop and the whole description would focus on design, we can look at a clear table with features and price. As a competition, we chose the all-new Lenovo ThinkPad X300, which we wrote about a few days ago here. The second laptop in comparison was the Toshiba Portg R500, presented in the table in a design with an optical drive and a hard drive.

There are a few remarks about the table: Lenovo has not tested it yet and we will use the data from the manufacturer, especially skume to skept. On the other hand, we may be skeptical about prices, or it is the recommended price – the store is usually the price. The price for Toshiba is not found as of February 27, 2008, for Apple the price is paid from the largest Apple partner, where the first pieces are available. If we look at “ro” gradually according to the items in the table, they will send the moment in advance processor. According to the available information, it is made to order by Intel and cannot be found in the catalog. Low-voltage processor (1.0 – 1.25 V, LV processors have 0.9 – 1.20 V, standard processors then 1.0375-1.30) IN). Compared to standard processors with TDP 34 W, it has only 20 W, so it does not go so hard. This is a big issue, especially the MacBook Pro.

The absence of an optical drive could be understood in terms of light weight, unfortunately he gave the item, only one USB port, which can only make the user angry. It was not possible to connect an external 2.5 ″ disk in the editorial office (one USB connector failed to power up) and the data had to be copied over.
Of the other missing items in the current equipment, let’s name it only the missing ethernet, also it is not possible to connect to the Internet other than via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The weakness of the security of the laptop compared to the competition is not worth it, to praise Apple we have to give at least for the perfect catalogs – the weight answer of the MacBook Air exactly what we intended.
Design
After a few wonders that we can’t find everything in the laptop, we went back to the design and construction itself. This is a really strong weapon, where all MacBooks find capable competitors only sporadically. Although the design is all subjective, I did not come across a single criticism during the writing.
The most interesting is, of course, the thin profile of the laptop, which looks very elegant. Despite its slim design, the MacBook Air is one of the strongest notebooks on the market, and the parts are handled with hourly accuracy. He’s up to ergonomics when it comes to talking. The connectors are hidden in a separate flip slot, which is quite far from the right edge and it is not possible to insert a large USB arch.
What the owner won’t really have to get used to for a long time is the peak of the backlit keyboard. This can be regulated either run or left to the electronics depending on the surrounding lighting conditions.

The MacBook Air is a very quiet notebook, even with minimal clutter. Somewhat impractical are the sharp edges of the metal, but the areas for the open back are large enough and the back is not abraded. Very good display with a summer surface, rich colors and good visibility. The touchpad is equipped with a similar function to the iPhone – you can “zoom” photos on the desktop by zooming in and out with two fingers. They can be done in a similar way. The function is a clever idea, the practical use of the bag is probably only for viewing photographs, when editing it is just as convenient for us.

We probably stood it for a while, unfortunately its strength was at the expense of practicality. The battery is hidden in the laptop and cannot be replaced, for example. for nhradn.

MacBook Air is a beautiful and high-quality notebook, not for a price of around 50,000 K. The absence of some interfaces is known to limit comfortable work and some good features are so obscure. In the current price, it will not be easy for a MacBook, so it cannot be expected that we will have a more significant difference. It will offer even more the feeling of uniqueness to its owner.
