First novelty, and this is not good news, this month of April will begin with an increase in the price of gas. Regulated tariffs increase by 0.58%. Fuel taxes rise by 2 cents per liter for gasoline, and 2.4 cents per liter for diesel. Orange’s fixed telephone subscription increases by one euro, and goes up to 17.90 euros per month. Six million households are affected. Please note, from today, reimbursements for complementary health insurance are capped at 150 euros per frame for optical costs.

Certain revalued allowances

On the good news side, aid to large families, called “Ccomplément familial”, rose to 203.50 euros per month, an increase of 18.50 euros. The ASF, paid to single-parent families, increases to 99.75 euros per month and per child, an increase of 4.75 euros. The minimum old age is also increasing today, but retirement pensions are not moving. They are frozen until next October.
