Yesterday, Thursday January 22, there were many subscribers applying for a new special savings account: the 3rd industrial revolution booklet. It was launched in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Its objective: to finance companies working in the field of energy transition or renewable energies. Interest rates are 1.75% per year up to 1,500 euros and 0.8% per year up to 100,000 euros.

“It is a savings book that also allows you to direct your savings towards the financing of companies of the industrial revolution” Sylvie Capon, regional director of Crédit coopératif, explains to France 2. For those who are disappointed with the old savings model, the project is attractive. Oxipio, a bicycle delivery company, could benefit from this savings. “We have this citizen approach to fight against the pollution of the planet. Today, many citizens want to get involved in this type of process ”, assures its CEO Philippe Malraux. The 3rd industrial revolution booklet could give the region a new economic start.
